He’s really the type of person who loves what he’s doing. That type of person is not new to me. It’s just they are so focused on that. They don’t see the world like other people do. Immersed themselves into their own words. It’s hard to explain. If I can speak with you. I can hear you more than in a crowd.

If you are so focused on a task. You don’t see things. This reminds me of in a group no one is really trying to hear your keyboard typing. Your brain kind of puts everything into background noise.

All the great writers have things in common. you are picking up things that are very normal in the process of great writers. trial and error. A lot of writers of great writers. Everyone who has been remembered. I keep writing about Faulkner because this is who I did my thesis. Martin Luther King. That was the not first time he said that. That speech is the culmination of him trying to get the words right. Faulkner said it took me 12 books to say what I wanted to say. These monologues to family, to history, to brokenness. The parrallelism to what you wanted to say.
I never thought I did that. Interesting.
